He Is Risen! Now What?
We've Got Connections

Last Week: Who's In Charge Here?

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:18-20

What chips away at your confidence?

An unconfident and fearful bunch - the disciples

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"
John 20:19

If you are living with fear or worry, perhaps it's time to ask yourself a question - or five...

If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:32

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen?
Romans 8:33

Who is he that condemns?
Romans 8:34

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
Romans 8:35

Jesus lives! He has all authority! He sits at the right hand of the Father! Be confident in him - we've got connections!

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
