1) The reconciler puts his own house in order.

2) The reconciler makes the first move.

3) The reconciler expects rejection but tries anyway.

4) The reconciler does not require perfection.

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
