On this Independence Day weekend we thank God for our nation and its many freedoms, and we thank God for all those who promote and defend those freedoms.

As Christian Citizens we not only give thanks for our political freedoms, but even more so we give God thanks for the eternal freedom that God has kindly provided us in the death and Resurrection of His Son Jesus.

"If you obey My teaching, you are really My disciples; you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free... If the Son sets you free, then you will be truly free."
John 8: 31-32, 36
