In our Gospel lesson today, asks us a question, through a question he asked His disciples; "But what about you? Who do you say I am?" Our answer to that question not only reminds us of who He is, but of who we are and, more importantly, who we ought to be, how we are to live, and where we will eventually hope to go.

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets." "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
