In our Gospel lesson we hear Philip share his encounter, his enthusiasm of meeting Jesus with his friend Nathanael. "We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote." His personal encounter with Jesus could not be contained, but had to be shared. And Nathanael's response, well, less than enthusiastic. How do you respond when those around you may not be enthusiastic to hear about Jesus, may not share your faith? I think Philip's response to his friend is such an example for us all. Simply, "Come and see."
